“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matt 28:18-20
Vision
The vision for Medical Missions is to work with local churches in developing countries to create outreach opportunities in their communities by meeting a practical, health-related need. We provide expertise, training and education for the local church members and work with them to conduct an outreach event such as medical screening clinic or vaccination drive.
Opportunities
The following opportunities are available within the next 12-18 months:
- The Philippines – We plan on a conducting regional clinics and equipping community health workers in the Bible college with Bobby and Noemi Pino in November 2014.
- Kenya – We will be partnering with Deliverance Church who regularly has a monthly medical missions outreach to the community and two major medical camps in a year. They have given us an open invitation to monthly clinics in rural areas as well as 2 annual clinics in the slums of Nairobi. Our scheduled visit at this time is November of 2015
- India – We will be planning a trip to Chennai in early February 2015 to conduct a series of clinics with Paul John.
We serve because access to quality medical care in developing nations is inconsistent and expensive in many parts of the world. Although this is tragic, it also provides a specific, practical way for us to help support our friends in local churches around the globe.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for doctors, nurses, CNAs, nurse practitioners, midwives, physician assistants and administrators. We need people with expertise in logistics and planning, construction and trades to make the most of the trips.
Qualifications
